a kit for this scooter.
That's not a kit. That's a giant hole, covered by a little bit of metal.
And while I think it's kind of ugly, I think it is fairly well established that I will sacrifice performance for things that look prettier, so who am I to judge? I've said before that a good chunk of the difference between a scooter and a moped is that you sit on a scooter, but with a moped, you put the fun between your legs. That might be covered in plastic, but at least you've got the riding position more or less right.
